Hotel inventories & assets
Kohi, equipment inventory for your hotel
Kohi is equipment inventory and asset management software for hotels, published in Tahiti by Devlab. It brings together a photo catalogue of equipment, stock by room, storeroom or shared space, mobile field stocktakes that work without a network, storeroom requisitions and traceable disposal.
What Kohi does
One tool to know what the property owns (furniture, fixtures and equipment, known as FF&E, fixed assets and operating equipment, known as OS&E), where it is, what condition it is in, and who decided each movement.
Photo catalogue
Each equipment model has its photos, supplier, manuals and technical documents. Staff recognise the item before they count it.
Stock by location
Rooms, floors, storerooms, stores and rows: each location has a printed QR code and its own stock. Renaming a location keeps its QR code.
Field stocktakes
Counts, observations and photos on a phone, organised by campaign and zone. “Nothing has changed” confirms a genuinely checked zone in one scan.
Photo search
A photo of an item suggests up to three catalogue references. The person picks one or states that none match: nothing is matched automatically.
Storeroom requisitions
Request, two separate named approvals, issues, receipts and returns with distinct quantities, a PDF slip and attachments.
Traceable disposal
Signed technical diagnosis, review, decision, destination of the equipment and archiving, with the register and slip produced from the file.
Permissions and audit log
Named, dated and revocable access per property. Every operation is logged; Excel exports are shared through a link protected by a one-time code.
Built for the field, even without a network
In a hotel, Wi-Fi does not always reach storerooms, basements or bungalows. Kohi is an installable web app (PWA): entries stay on the phone while the network is down, then sync when it returns.
- Queue per account and per property on the device
- Drafts and photos kept until the server acknowledges them
- Permissions re-checked by the server when the network returns
Who it is for
Engineering teams
Equipment tracking by room and area, diagnoses and asset retirement.
Stores and cost control
Requisitions between stores and departments, issues and returns without double entry.
Finance
Documented stocktakes, named approvals and restricted access to acquisition records.
Frequently asked questions
What is Kohi?
Kohi is equipment inventory and asset management software for hotels, published in Tahiti by Devlab. It tracks equipment by room, storeroom or shared space, organises mobile field stocktakes and records storeroom requisitions and disposals.
Does Kohi work without an internet connection?
Yes. Kohi installs as an app on the phone. Counts, observations and photos entered without a network stay on the device, then sync when the connection returns.
What is the difference between Kohi and Koha?
They are two separate Devlab products. Kohi manages hotel inventories and equipment; Koha manages gift vouchers for hotels, spas and restaurants.
What is the difference between Kohi and Hono?
They are two separate Devlab products. Kohi tracks a hotel’s equipment and stock, from stocktake to disposal. Hono is for maintenance companies: it manages their customers’ equipment and prepares service visits, starting with air conditioning.
Does Kohi handle minibars and F&B food cost?
No. Kohi tracks equipment and stored items, and their movements between stores and departments. Minibar consumption belongs in the hotel or point-of-sale system; for recipe costing and restaurant margins, Devlab publishes Rongo.
Does Kohi replace a CMMS?
No. Kohi does not schedule preventive maintenance or work orders. It tracks equipment, stock and movements, and records the technical diagnosis when an item is retired. It complements an existing CMMS.
Can Kohi manage several properties?
Yes. Each property has its own locations, stock and permissions. One person can access several properties, with different capabilities in each.
How much does Kohi cost?
Pricing depends on the number of properties, locations to count and users, and on migrating existing data. Devlab demonstrates Kohi first, then sends a proposal.
