Hotel FF&E and OS&E inventory with Kohi
Kohi, the hotel inventory software published in Tahiti by Devlab, keeps the inventory of furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) and operating supplies and equipment (OS&E) by model and by location: one photo record per model, units assigned to rooms, storerooms and stores, suppliers and technical documents, each item’s history and shared exports.
One catalogue entry per model
The same bed or lamp appears in dozens of rooms: Kohi describes each model once, with its photos, supplier and contact details, reference, manuals and technical documents. Unknown fields stay empty rather than guessed.
Units assigned to locations
Each unit sits in a location: room, floor, storeroom, store or row. A unit is added from the model record by picking or dragging it to the zone, and nothing is created before confirmation.
- Printed QR code per location, kept when the location is renamed
- Several properties, each with its own locations and stock
- Historical versions available read-only
Values and exports under control
Acquisition amounts and records are restricted to people entitled to them. Excel exports are shared through a link protected by a one-time code, and every operation stays in the log.
What Kohi does not do here
Kohi does not compute accounting depreciation and does not replace a CMMS or the hotel management system. It tracks what the hotel owns, where, in what condition, and who decided each movement.
Frequently asked questions
How does Kohi handle FF&E versus OS&E?
Kohi treats both the same way: furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) and operating supplies and equipment (OS&E) are described by model in the catalogue, then tracked by unit and by location.
Does every item need a label?
No. Kohi labels locations, with one QR code per room, storeroom or row, and describes each model once with its photos. Staff recognise the item on screen before counting it.
Who can see purchase values?
Only people entitled to read values. Documents containing amounts are classified separately, and adding or reading them requires that permission.
